Since January 16, service fees for patents have been doubled or tripled. In the letter approved by the Ministry of Infrastructure and signed by the General Directorate of Road Transport, the new fees for driving license services have entered into force.
When before to give the exam of theoretical knowledge when you do not pass the theoretical test in the first exam you had to pay 400 lek as a fee, now you have to pay 1200. Also for retaking the practical test when before you would pay 500 lek you will already pay 4 times more.
In order to be equipped with a driving license for all categories from 3500 lek, 4500 lek will now be paid. A number of other services for licenses have also been doubled, such as the provision of an international driver's license, the provision of a "Permit" and the theoretical qualification exam after the total loss of points or the removal of the driving license, but also for driving schools for the obligations they have for exercising the activity.
