Analyst Ben Andoni says that the new government in Montenegro will not have a long 'life', as he expressed his regret that the Albanians were divided.
Andoni declared that the action of the two Albanian parties, who voted for a pro-Serbian and pro-Russian government, was pragmatist and this pragmatism will condemn these political forces.
According to Andoni, the extreme right is always more present in the Balkan countries.
" I believe you are setting a target for that irregularity that is seen today in the Balkan countries. The extreme right is getting closer and closer to the Balkans, we find it in the parties that have Russian Slavic and Serbian Slavic orientations. We have seen, even in EU countries, the extreme right, in the West we see the right, but also clearly in our countries. You have elements of the extreme right in Serbia, North Macedonia. I am sorry that in Montenegro it was possible to form a coalition that will not have a long life. There is no political support in the country.
The Parliament of Montenegro has 81 seats, the configuration of the parties there is apparently interesting, the Serbian influence is very large. I am sorry that once again, the Albanians were divided. On the face of it, it seems a pragmatic decision, but the Albanians have managed to have municipalities, this makes the Albanian factor very interesting. The action was pragmatic, it will damage the Albanian identity, it gives the opportunity to the pro-Russian and pro-Serbian parties to survive. Pragmatism has to condemn the Albanian parties.
If you look carefully, the preparation for the government, the talks have been going on for weeks. It was a tactic to show the president of the European Commission that Montenegro is working. We are more interested in the Albanian factor, the placement of Mr. Gjeloshaj and others in this coalition and their behavior in this government. It will be seen that they will act on the anniversary of Kosovo's independence. We will also look at bilateral relations with Kosovo, how they will behave, relations with Albania will continue" , he emphasized.
