"The government avoids any responsibility", Abilekaj: Floods, a

Analyst Enton Abilekaj has harshly criticized the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama for the way they are handling the floods and infrastructure crises in the country.

According to him, the responsibility is clear and has been known for years, as uncontrolled concreting and mismanagement of the territory have destroyed the infrastructure, making the country vulnerable to any natural phenomenon.

Abilekaj emphasized that the government avoids responsibility, while citizens pay the consequences of wrong and deliberate decisions.

"Apparently, this is the most important thing. Today we discuss as if we don't know who is to blame. This is the first problem we have. All discussions for me are useless. Because we know who is to blame, we have known since Albania was concreted in all the areas in which it was concreted, we have known that the day will come when these areas will be flooded. The day will come when they will need emergency services, because no service is guaranteed.

All infrastructure is zero. And the day will come when all these areas will have other problems again when summer comes, other problems in every season of the year, other crises that are supposedly caused by nature, by previously unseen natural phenomena. So, I think that entering the debate this time is a mistake because there is no õ, it is clear that the infrastructure has been destroyed due to mismanagement of the territory and the mismanagement of the territory has been destroyed intentionally by the government for the purpose of pure profit. This is clear.

The government cannot admit that it is guilty, but at a minimum, at a minimum, Prime Minister Edi Rama could have behaved like a prime minister once, but he has again lost this opportunity to behave like a prime minister, because he has the narcissism of a teenager in government, who continues to talk about great achievements. And instead of apologizing, instead of apologizing to those who were flooded, he behaves like a gambler, who after ruining the money of those people there who took their money and did nothing for them, says that with the money of these others I will give you the profit for you too. So from our money I will give you money to compensate them. Because with their money I did nothing for them. Not canals, not minimal infrastructure so that they do not flood. Minimal infrastructure so that they do not burn, minimal infrastructure so that their houses do not collapse when an earthquake hits. Nothing.

In every event that happens here, in every natural disaster, we have Durrës the first to be destroyed. Why? Because constructions were given without permission. Who told them to cut the columns of a palace in Durrës and have it all collapse? Who told them to build on sand? Who gave them permission? Who did this? Who told them to destroy all the sewage and turn a land without drainage, into a residential neighborhood? Who gave them permission? Who legalized them? That they are without permission. Who takes their taxes? So instead of a prime minister lowering his head, he would at least resign, but, in the case of not resigning, to declare a state of natural disaster, at the very least, he still doesn't do it. He comes out and speaks proudly because there are no people to hold him accountable. "He comes out and speaks like a narcissist, with the narcissism of a teenager and the irresponsibility of a man who has nothing to do with governance. And he doesn't even speak from the prime minister's office, but from an idiotic podcast he invented there to speak for himself. This is the problem we have. The problem is that people don't revolt. Not even those whose homes have been destroyed revolt when they see the prime minister here ," he told "Syri TV".
