Another 4.5 billion lek in the name of advancing the justice reform until 2030. With the Intersectoral Strategy put out for public consultation, the Ministry of Justice shows the direction of spending this money.

" In this strategy, this political goal ensures transparency regarding the institutional activity of the justice bodies for the justice system. Justice close to the citizens aims at the access of the general public to the Reform of Justice, throughout the 2030s and guarantees the public's access to information about the justice system and the processes of European integration ", it says.

There are five policies that constitute the pillars of the new strategy with the aim of the country's membership in the European Union by 2030. For "Consolidation of the achievements of the justice reform" it is planned to spend almost 450 million ALL and the same amount for "Strengthening independence, impartiality and accountability", writes A2.

Almost 3 billion ALL have been made available for the third policy, that of "Increasing the efficiency of institutions". The rest of the money will go to strengthening quality and guaranteeing a justice closer to the people.

"The financial gap for the entire period 2024-2030 is 476.3 million ALL or 10.6% of indicative costs. For the period 2024-2026, the state budget is expected to finance 63.6% of the total indicative costs of implementing the plan, while 25.7% are the planned expenses for the period 2027-2030", the report states.

According to the draft law, 80 percent of judges and prosecutors will have at least a full ethical and professional evaluation by the end of 2030, A2 reports.

It is also expected to increase the number of prisoners who will be involved in rehabilitation activities, while the aim is also to completely digitize the system of court archives. / A2 CNN
