Analyst Ergys Mërtiri said that Prime Minister Edi Rama has been circling SPAK for some time and intends to hinder it. But according to Mürtir, this is impossible.
Mërtiri emphasized that it is impossible for Rama to block the work of SPAK.
"If SPAK attacked him, it would make Rama look bad. But he will try to find mechanisms to hinder SPAK. One of these mechanisms is, for example, the removal of the act of abuse of power to be investigated by SPAK, but I do not believe that it will succeed. If we did not have the international factor, SPAK would have been locked in time. SPAK has a much greater will than Edi Rama, so it is impossible to block it" , Mërtiri declared to News 24.
Ergys Mërtiri described the anti-corruption resolution as a falsehood, while adding that the opposition should take concrete steps and not just words to hinder this initiative.
"What Edi Rama is doing is producing falsehoods, such is the anti-corruption resolution. Rama commits corruption, but cannot wage war. I think an opposition should have been more active, as it is not enough to say that this initiative is false. The opposition should not attack the Government only with statements, but I am afraid that this opposition is caught in its own complexes. The opposition must take initiatives, propose initiatives in the commissions where it is a part, in order to put the Prime Minister with his shoulders against the wall", emphasized Mërtiri.
Mërtiri considers Edi Rama's meetings in Athens and Milan to be propaganda, but which give points to the prime minister himself.
"He is creating an alibi, legitimizing himself, setting up a duel with the Greeks, producing an Albanian-Greek battle, and then tells us that he is giving the Government dignity. Even Berisha, who was a bad governor, had clashes with the Greeks, but that does not mean that they are good things ", said Mërtiri.
