Two judges have been added to the Special Court. It is learned that it is about the magistrates, Bibe Ndreca and Ardit Mustafa.
The two judges underwent the vetting process and were dismissed by the Independent Qualification Commission. However, they appealed the KPA's decision and were reinstated by the Special Appeals Panel.
Mustafa and Ndreca were judges in the former Serious Crimes Court but were dismissed by the Independent Qualification Commission.
They won the process in the second stage of the vetting as they were ordered to be appointed to the office on Thursday, May 29.
Accordingly, decision no. 282, dated 29.05.2024 of the Supreme Court appoints judge Ardit Mustafa and with decision No. 283, dated 29.05.2024, the HCJ appoints judge Bib Ndreca.
Today, Bib Ndreca was part of the judging panel of the "Golden Bullet" file. While Ardit Mustafa starts work on June 19, 2024.
The Special Court, with the appointment of two judges, goes to 11 in total, while its full membership foresees 16, currently 5 more judges are missing.
