'Kosmonte Foods', the company owned by the oligarch next to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has entered the pans of power after Vetevendosja took absolute power in Kosovo.
Referring to the Kosovar media Periskopi , the arrival of the Kurti Government enabled the company "Kosmonte Foods" to be declared a strategic investor and to be given a forest land in use for 99 years.
"For a company to receive the status of Strategic Investor, it must first go through several procedures.
A company cannot be recommended for Strategic Investors if it has problems with the law. This is also defined in the Administrative Instruction (CKR) 15/2018 on the Way and Methods of Verification of Fulfillment of the Criteria for Assigning the Status of Strategic Investor.
Against the company in question, the Questions Agency filed a lawsuit for breach of contract. Periscope learns that the lawsuit still exists and, despite this, it has been addressed with a simple question: "Does the lawsuit still exist, or has it been withdrawn?". The lawsuit was filed by the previous administration.
However, the Ministry of Agriculture was not interested in the epilogue of the court, and demanded that the company be equipped with the passport of the Strategic Investor, therefore it would have benefits from the state.
The company "Kosmonte Foods" applied to MINT in February 2019. Then the Agency for Investments and Enterprise Support in Kosovo - KIESA within the Ministry of Trade and Industry has made a technical evaluation of the documentation of the strategic investment project.
After ascertaining that the complete project file has been submitted and after the technical control of the application, the Agency has asked the Interministerial Commission to establish the Operational Group, whereupon the latter issued a decision on the establishment of the Operational Group for the preparation, supervision and implementation of the strategic investment project.
So, the operational Group is responsible for professionally supporting the Agency for Investments and Enterprise Support in following all procedures and preparing all legal documents, in order to prepare and implement the strategic investment project.
The Agency and the Operational Group within twenty working days from the date of appointment by the Inter-ministerial commission, has verified the submitted documentation and carried out the technical, financial and legal evaluation of the complete project file.
The Operational Group that reviewed the company's documentation was made up of 8 people, and four of them have recommended that the company meets the conditions to go to the Government for approval, and four of them have determined that it does not meet the conditions. It is worth noting that there is no official of the Forestry Agency in the Group, even though this Agency deals precisely with the management and administration of forests and forest lands.
So in the four by four situation, the document did not have to go to the government. However, this document went to the Government in 2021, a few months after Rozeta Hajdari took over the leadership of the Ministry of Trade.
We recall that during the Kurti 1 Government, the Prime Minister together with Minister Rozeta Hajdari had visited the facility of the company "Kosmonte Foods" in 2020.
As it was reported earlier, the company "Kosmonte Foods" was a financial supporter of the election campaign of the Vetëvendosje Movement. The party now in power has not "forgotten the good" that this company has done and decided to reward it by declaring it a "Strategic Investor".
Once upon a time, the honesty and elusiveness of Albin Kurti was also shown through stories like: Businessmen, oligarchs and others like them knocked on the door, but Albin Kurti not only chased them away, but told them to 'run to Edi Rama'! Even though time has not changed, her story DOES.

KLSH has also established that Lulzim Begaj deceives consumers with the products he puts on the market. It was a consumer who raised the alarm that "Kosmonte Foods" is selling vegetable fat instead of butter. According to KLSH, the fraud with 45 tons of vegetable fat starts at the Border Inspection Point in Qafë Thane and then ends at the company that markets the product.
Also in Domje, near Rinasi street, Lulzim Begaj also set up his business, on land that it is not known how he benefited from. We remind you that for the alienation of properties in that area, the former mayor of Bërxulle municipality, Ymer Marku, is in prison.
