Kukës has been hit by a major storm accompanied by wind and snowfall.
The sudden drop in temperatures by 15 degrees Celsius has brought a disorientation of meteorological conditions in this region. The storm, in addition to wind and heavy snow, has also been accompanied by sunshine.
Meanwhile, in the city, the thermometer has dropped to 0 degrees, while at altitudes above 700 m the thermometer has dropped to -4 degrees, with the thickness of the snow in the areas of Shishtavec and the Valbona Valley varying from 10-15 cm.
During this period, fruit crops are in bloom, such as pears, cherries, peaches, apricots, etc., but according to specialists, these temperatures do not cause damage.
Vehicle movement on the roads has been free, except in high areas where drivers must have winter equipment.
