Snowfall returns to the southeast, ARRSH appeals to drivers: Use chains and winter tires

Snowfall continues in the southeast of the country, mainly in the Korça district, on the Korçë-Voskopojë and Zêmblak-Doganë-Gorica road axes.

Snow falls with average intensity, while currently there are no blockages and traffic continues normally on all road axes.

ARRSH announces that drivers must be careful. According to the announcement, they should use winter tires and in different segments use snow chains. 

Also, it is becoming possible to salt the roads and open them.

"Medium intensity snowfalls have also started in Korçë-Voskopojë and in Zêmblak-Dogana Goricë

Snow plows are working to clear the road and distribute salt. Traffic continues normally on all national axes. 

Drivers should be equipped with winter tires and chains when traveling to these segments with the presence of snow, reduce speed, respect the traffic signs and instructions of the Traffic Police , "announces ARRSH.
