Mohamed Alabbar, also a protagonist in Serbia, devours state property;

As in Albania, Mohamed Alabbar has become a protagonist in Serbia as well, taking state properties and failing with his projects...

The Arab Sheikh Mohamed Alabbar has become a protagonist in Serbia as well. In addition to taking the Port of Durrës to us and the project remaining in the air, he seems to be a character of negative news in Serbia as well.

The Serbian opposition newspaper " Nova " has published an article on how the Vučić government has given property and state facilities to people close to them, including criminals, councilors and businessmen. Arab Mohamed Alabbar is also on the list.

According to the Serbian media, state villa number 38, on the street "Užička", in the elite part of Dedinja, has been given to the company "ANH Holding Limited", which is owned by Mohamed Alabbar.

" This Arab billionaire is known to our public as one of the investors in Belgrade in the field of water, but also as a man whom the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has called "his friend" in several public speeches. It is evident that the villa in Uzhička has changed owners, which can be seen in the Cadastre, but it is not known at what price and under what conditions the Arab businessman came into possession of this property ", writes the Serbian media.

But according to her, the procedure was done in complete secrecy and the suspicions are that the villa may have been given for free. But "Nova" raises another question, the projects he has taken have remained in the air, as is happening with his project in Durrës, which is not known when it will start and if it will ever end.

" In Serbia, Muhamed Alabar has been announced as an investor in the "Belgrade on the Water" project, but so far no one from the authorities has announced how much this billionaire has invested in the project that he is officially financing ," writes the Serbian media.

According to "Nova", for the umpteenth time the public has been denied an answer to the question: How much money has so far come from the United Arab Emirates for the "Belgrade on water" project.

According to the contract, the Serbian side has given the "Eagle Hills" company owned by Muhamed Alabar 100 hectares of urban construction land on lease for 99 years, but without compensation, in exchange for 32 percent ownership in the joint venture. That contract envisages joint investments in a site of about 177 hectares that has several residential buildings and hotels, a shopping center and the 168-meter-high Belgrade Tower. But there is no development in this regard.

Even in Tirana, Alabar is described by Edi Rama as his friend, as it is said that the project for Durrës has failed and he is thinking of leaving. Just like in Serbia, there is no transparency about what is being done with this project. / Pamphlet
