After a period of high temperatures, the weather has changed significantly, giving way to heavy rainfall. This rainfall has caused problems on the Burrel-Milot national road, where a rock slide was reported overnight at the entrance to the Shkopet tunnel.
As a result, the road segment was blocked for about an hour. Immediately after the incident, police forces and the road maintenance company operating on the Skuraj-Peshkopi segment arrived at the scene, reports " BW ".
These structures have made it possible to clear the stones and normalize traffic. According to preliminary information, a part of the road retaining wall, near the Shkopet hydroelectric power plant, has also been damaged.
