The Vlora police have arrested two people suspected of committing brutal violence against 61-year-old Kozma Kukli, who was attacked a few days ago in the "Tregu të Çoles" area, in the "Bashkimi" neighborhood. The elderly man is in serious health condition and is hospitalized in the Reanimation ward of the Vlora Regional Hospital.
According to the official police announcement, those arrested are:
-Ermal Sakaj , 37 years old, resident of Vlora, with a criminal record for "Intentional serious injury" committed with a firearm;
-Klaudio Nurçaj , 30 years old, resident of Vlora, previously convicted of "Production and sale of narcotics".
Both of these citizens, in collaboration with each other, are suspected of having severely hit Kukl with hard objects, for weak motives.
" The services of the Vlora Police Commissariat, after receiving the notification, organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrators. As a result of reviewing the video footage and rapid investigations, they were detained ," the blue uniforms said in a statement.
The Vlora Prosecution Office has launched investigations into the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury, committed in collaboration", and both are expected to appear in court for security measures.
