Measles cases continue to increase in Albania. The data of the Institute of Public Health indicate that 17 cases of measles have been confirmed so far.
12 of the cases have epidemiological links and clinical signs.
Two days ago, it was confirmed that there were 10 people affected by measles, while now the number has gone up to 17.
A few days ago, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Koçiu, called for the timely vaccination of children that provides good protection.
"To protect your children from measles, rubella and mumps, you must vaccinate them on time, according to the national vaccination calendar. Follow the advice and instructions of pediatricians to ensure better protection for your children" , said Koçiu.
