While work has begun on the ground to verify the damage caused by the floods, some villages are facing difficult situations, as rivers have overflowed their banks, "invading" land and homes.
Such a situation has been created in recent hours in the village of Mbrostar in the Fier District, where the Seman River has overflowed its banks, while a large area has been submerged under the power of the water.
The damage was mainly caused to livestock stables and poultry houses, where the water level is the highest.
Farmers affected by the flood have been contacted by the Minister of Defense. Residents have expressed concern about the situation and have requested urgent assistance from the state to remove livestock from the water and minimize further damage.
Meanwhile, in another village, in Ferras, 4 verification groups have arrived on the ground, in a process that seems to be characterised by distrust in the way it is being carried out.
The village headman, Zani Hyka, claims that the verification is not being done fairly. In this village, there are at least 120 homes that were flooded.
But not only that, as the flood also damaged agricultural equipment, auxiliary infrastructure, and warehouses, which have considerable value for residents of rural areas who engage in agriculture or livestock farming.
