After the road collapsed, several villages in Librazhd are now without electricity.
The cause is the high-voltage pole that will be dismantled by the OST, following landslides in Dragostunja.
Electricity will be out until 5:00 p.m. The villages of Ferrë, Frarë and Hotolisht, Gurëkuqe are left without power.
According to the OST, the pole will be dismantled and the 110KV line will be grounded.
"We inform you that, within the framework of the works for the dismantling of pole No. 15, on the 110kV line L110-16/3a Librazhd - HEC Egnatia, on February 23, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00, the 10kV Line of the F3 Hotolisht Feeder of the Librazhd Substation as well as the 35kV Line of the Dragostunjë HEC will be disconnected and grounded. As a result, during this time interval, several areas in the Librazhd district will remain without electricity: Babje, Buzgar, Drapata, Dragostunjë, Ferrë, Frarë, Hotolisht, Gurëkuqe, HEC-i Xhyrë", the official announcement states.
The road segment in the Arra e Gurrës area in Librazhd was expected to open today, but it has failed.
The Albanian Road Administration, through a statement today, February 23, announces that this road segment has suffered defects and subsidence.
"The road segment in the Arra e Gurrës area in Librazhd was expected to open today, but it has suffered damage and subsidence. For this reason, it cannot be opened today. Currently, the segment is impassable. The secondary road has suffered a landslide, also damaging the provisional road, built earlier," explains ARRSH.
