The demolition of the Librazhd/Rama road in Korça continues with a helicopter
The road segment in the Arrat e Gurrës area, in the village of Dragostunjë in Librazhd, did not open at noon as expected, while the road connecting Tirana with the southeast of the country has been blocked for days due to a collapse on the Librazhd-Prrenjas axis.
The secondary road built to allow temporary passage suffered subsidence and landslides.
The mass of soil that moved damaged the intervention carried out in recent days. Authorities consider this segment, which connects several important areas, impassable for an indefinite period. Due to the risk of further collapses, the company's vehicles that were working on the site were removed.
The responsible structures also prohibited pedestrian movement on this part of the road. The situation created in recent hours has alarmed state structures and the Albanian government, while an urgent reassessment of the geological conditions and the intervention plan is expected.
According to media reports, Prime Minister Edi Rama has planned a visit to the city of Korça, but due to road blockage, he will travel by helicopter.
The Korça police have been notified that the head of government will land by helicopter at 11:00 in Korça, for the inauguration of the Knowledge Pole.
There is no announcement from the prime minister regarding the meeting in question, while the Korça media have reported the news about the visit in question.
Meanwhile, there is still no official reaction from the prime minister and the ministries on how it will be processed, but only blockages and suspensions at the expense of citizens.
Road collapse in Librazhd/Berisha: Consequence of theft and corruption
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted again regarding the collapse of the Librazhd-Prrenjas road segment, rejecting claims that the damage was caused by the weather.
Through a post on Facebook, Berisha states that the real reason for the road collapse is related to “theft and corruption,” accusing the government of mismanagement and attempts to justify the situation with natural factors.
In his reaction, he also shared a video by journalist Osman Stafa, which he says "clearly shows the true face" of the situation.
Berisha also said that the leader of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, lied when he stated that the collapse of the bridge was due to depreciation over the years and natural factors. He directly accuses the government, stating that they are "fraudsters and thieves."

Kjo e fundit është pezulluar nga detyra, ndërsa SPAK kërkon arrestimin. Edhe pse kryeministri Edi Rama kishte deklaruar më parë se nuk kishte urgjencë për trajtimin e kërkesës, duke argumentuar se Balluku mund të hetohej lehtësisht ndërsa është e pezulluar, duket se kjo qasje ka ndryshuar.
Fillimisht, socialistët paralajmëruan se do të prisnin publikimin e vendimit të Gjykatës Kushtetuese, por vendimi për thirrjen e Këshillit të Imunitetit erdhi pas një kërkese të Bashkimit Europian, që vuri theksin tek nevoja për një trajtim të shpejtë të çështjes të imunitetit parlamentar, si pjesë e angazhimeve për luftën kundër korrupsionit.
Heqja e imunitetit nga Kuvendi do t’i mundësonte SPAK-ut të kërkojë masa të tjera ndaj Ballukut, duke përfshirë arrestin me burg, arrestin në shtëpi apo masa kontrolli në banesë.
Megjithatë, për këto masa, autoriteti i Kuvendit mbetet vendimtar. Për veprime të tjera si “detyrim paraqitje” apo kontrolli i pasaportës, SPAK nuk ka nevojë për autorizim parlamentar.

Deljani dyshohet se është një hallkë kyçe në sistemimin e parave të pista dhe në mbulimin e gjurmëve të aktivitetit kriminal që shtrihet nga zyrat e Bllokut tek tenderat e Portit të Durrësit.
1 year on the run/ Who is the Albanian deputy prime minister who was arrested in the RMV?
In the early hours of this morning, February 23, at exactly 06:10, former First Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi appeared at the Bllacë border crossing, who was immediately detained by the authorities and taken into custody for further procedures. This news was confirmed by Alsat television.
According to official information, his detention comes as part of a broader investigation into allegations of abuse of official position, corruption and violations of the public procurement law. The case concerns the functioning and contracts concluded by the State Lottery of North Macedonia, where decisions are suspected of having caused serious financial consequences.
The RMV authorities claim that certain economic entities have been favored through contested procurement procedures, damaging the institution's budget. According to initial estimates, the damage caused amounts to around 500 million denars, which is worth over 8 million euros. The investigations have focused on several specific contracts and decisions, for which there are suspicions that legal standards and principles of transparency have not been respected.
