Journalist Igli Çelmeta has provided details regarding the serious incident that occurred a few days ago, where 31-year-old Egli Pashollari was stabbed to death. Journalist Çelmeta has disputed the initial version that circulated in the media immediately after the crime, according to which the conflict had started due to harassment of the suspected perpetrator's wife.
"There has been a lot of abuse, especially in the case of the murder of 31-year-old Egli Pashollari, which occurred in the former Park area, near the victim's apartment. It was initially said that the 31-year-old was killed with a knife because he had harassed the perpetrator's wife. This is not true. From the communications I have had, he was a respected person by the community of that area, without problems. On the day the serious incident occurred, Egli Pashollari was fasting. The 31-year-old was driving his vehicle in the area where he lived and the perpetrator of the crime was parked in front of his car, blocking it, while he was waiting for his wife to get off work. That's where the conflict started, because Egli requested that the road be opened. This was the origin of the conflict.
"Then, the insults continued in reverse, and after the perpetrator took his wife into the car and started driving, Egli overtook him and stopped the car. There, a physical conflict began, and at one point, the perpetrator stabbed her 3 times. The wounds were fatal," the journalist told "A2 Cnn."
