Footage of the brawl recorded yesterday in the Ostren administrative unit of Bulqiza, during an electoral meeting of the Democrats, has been published.
As can be seen from the footage filmed by a security camera, a person is standing outdoors, talking on the phone, and then another person approaches.
After a verbal conflict, the person who was talking on the phone was hit and then other PD sympathizers got involved, hitting the Bulqiza Municipality employee. While another group of people came out of the bar and tried to prevent the conflict, "Report TV" reports.
In connection with this altercation, the Police announced today that they had initiated criminal proceedings against the political leader of the Democratic Party in Dibër, Xhelal Mziu, and his nephew, Elvis Mziu, for the criminal offense of "Threat or violence against election participants."
According to authorities, they are accused of punching 33-year-old Kalosh Murra from Shupenza, who is an employee of the Bulqiza Municipality in the social assistance distribution sector.
