The last session of requests for a mutual protection order with parties Prince Leka Zogun and Elia Zaharia, in the Civil Court of Tirana, has ended.
At the session, only the lawyers of the two parties appeared, who also presented the evidence for the alleged violence.
Both Prince Leka and Elia Zaharia, by the decision of the judge Artan Hajredinaj, have been granted a protection order against each other for a period of 6 months and the distance they must keep from each other is 5 meters. In the Royal Palace, Eli Zaharia will continue to stay with her daughter, while the Prince will see his daughter in the presence of the nanny.
Today's session at 1:00 p.m. took place in continuation of the session on March 21, which was postponed due to the non-presentation by Zaharia's defense of the forensic evidence proving signs of violence against her.
Prince Leka is equipped with a protection order for 1 year with a distance of 100 meters from his former father-in-law Gjergj Zaharia, while the latter must not live in the palace.
We remind you that Prince Leka and Elia Zaharia sued each other for police violence. The two sides clashed on March 5, when the prince went to the house to meet their infant daughter. After the collision, Leka also denounced Elias' father, Gjergj Zaharia, as according to him he was insulted and physically abused by his ex-father-in-law.
Prince Leka and Elia Zaharia have a daughter from their marriage, while they have been living apart for some time and have started the divorce process.
