Jorgo Goro was admitted to the hospital after presenting health problems.
Just a little while ago, he announced his resignation from the post of Mayor through a letter addressed to the Municipal Council of Himara.
In the letter, Goro states that he is in an absurd situation with the justice system for a 'guilt' he did not commit, but that he will face this in court where he will present the facts.
He states that he wants Himara to continue the work started and that the old traditional neighborhood between the two states does not become hostage to local speculators disguised as victims of a new state injustice that does not exist for Himariot properties.
Goro says that he left office with his head held high and his heart full of gratitude.
