The Court of Fier has declared incompetence for the investigation file on the explosion that happened in the silo of MP Bujar Çela in Lushnjë.
As a result, the file goes to the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime and is expected to be investigated by SPAK.
We also remember that today, the Court of Fier imprisoned the entrepreneur Leonard Gjini, who was authorized to carry out the construction of the silo where the explosion occurred, resulting in the death of father and son and the injury of 7 others on March 1 in Lushnja.
The 32-year-old entrepreneur of the company "Gjini Construksion", on November 27, 2023, signed a contract with MP Beujar Çela for the construction of the warehouse with a value of about 18 million ALL.
His lawyer, Arben Zaimi, requested the illegal assessment of the detention and the imposition of a property security measure, but this was not accepted by the court.
Leonard Gjini, questioned earlier by the police, said that he had not started the work in the MP's shed as he waited for the moment when the object was ready to be released, but according to the police, he allowed the works without respecting the technical security regulations, bringing consequences heavy.
