Lawyer Edmond Petraj has stated that former president Ilir Meta has shown extraordinary aggressiveness in the Security Block where he was held in Tirana, immediately after his arrest.
" Lord Meta wants to avoid the punishment. The ordeal will be very long, but the punishment may take another direction.
Even in the isolation rooms, an extraordinary aggressiveness has appeared. There was intervention by doctors and specialists in the institution ," said Petraj in Euronews Albania.
He stopped and the direct threat that Ilir Meta made to Altin Duman at the start of the trial today, while he was in front of him as a representative of the prosecution.
Edmond Petraj said that in his career he has not encountered such a case, where the accused/arrested person directly threatens the prosecutor.
