New details have been published from the SPAK file where the defendants are former President Ilir Meta and his ex-wife, Monika Kryemadhi, who is being tried at the GJKKO, while SPAK has filed a series of charges against two of the politicians who have faced public accusations for years, while for two years they have been under the in-depth investigation of SPAK.
The documents published by "MaShqip" document Monika Kryemadhi's luxury purchases in San Marino with credit cards linked to Albanian-American businessman Adrian Shatku, but not only that. They also mention the names of businessman Bashkim Ulaj and the son of former Prime Minister Berisha, Shkëlzen Berisha.
According to the investigative file, on September 24, 2014, Monika Kryemadhi wrote to Adrian Shatku on WhatsApp that she was in San Marino, while also telling him about family plans and trips to the luxury center "Lanserhof". A day later, on September 25, 2014, SPAK says that Kryemadhi attempted to make luxury purchases at the boutiques "Ferreti Boutique" and "Maccapani", but the "Black" card was not being accepted, which led to a series of direct communications with Adrian Shatku.
Bank verifications show that Monika Kryemadhi initially made a payment of 3 thousand euros at "Ferreti Boutique" with her personal card, while the "American Express Black" card, linked according to SPAK to Adrian Shatku, was then used for another payment of 12 thousand euros at the luxury boutiques of San Marino.
In WhatsApp communications uncovered by investigators, Monika complains that the card is not working, while Shatku replies that the card company “thought it was stolen.” He then writes that the card has been “reset” and can be used again.
According to SPAK, the payment of 12 thousand euros was successfully made. Monika asks Shatku to keep the card active "just in case", while he replies that it was absurd for a "Black Card" to be blocked.
Albanian investigators requested legal assistance from the San Marino authorities to verify the transactions. The official response confirms that on September 26, 2014, a payment of 12 thousand euros was credited to the account of the company “Maccapani SRL” from the POS dated September 25, 2014, a transaction that fully matches the conversations between Monika Kryemadhi and Adrian Shatku on WhatsApp.
But what weighs most heavily in the file are the communications related to economic interests and political influence for the fiber optic project in Albania.
While he was solving Monika's credit card problems in San Marino, Adrian Shatku was simultaneously writing to her about the permits he was waiting for from Minister Edmond Haxhinasto:

According to SPAK, "Bashkim" refers to businessman Bashkim Ulaj, while "Zeni" refers to Shkëlzen Berisha, the son of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
In another part of the communication, Shatku writes to Monika: "Is there anything new with the cable? Investors are losing confidence. We need to act now."
While Monika Kryemadhi responds: "I am making an official request to Mondi to grant the right to install fiber on the road axes."
The SPAK file states that Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi exerted influence on ministers and state institutions to favor Adrian Shatku's company "UNIFI Communication INC" in fiber optic and international interconnection projects.
At the same time, according to investigators, Monika Kryemadhi benefited from travel, luxury reservations and credit cards for personal purchases, while SPAK suspects that these were benefits related to the political influence she exerted in favor of the Albanian-American businessman. / Pamphlet /
