The European Union Ambassador to Tirana, Silvio Gonzato, during a meeting with the Prosecutor General, Olsian Çela, spoke about the importance of the fight against crime and providing justice to citizens.
During the meeting, Gonzato reaffirmed the European Union's support for the prosecution system at all levels to make it stronger and more functional.
He also emphasized that the cooperation of the General Prosecutor's Office with other justice institutions remains essential for advancing EU membership priorities.
" Cooperation with the General Prosecutor's Office, as well as with all other institutions of the justice system in Albania, remains important for advancing EU membership priorities."

During the meeting, support for the prosecution system at all levels was also reaffirmed, including assistance for the Case Management System, with the shared understanding that justice and the fight against crime begin with a strong and functional system.
"Close cooperation with the High Prosecutorial Council remains essential to guarantee accountability and high ethical standards ," the EU Embassy announces.
