Prime Minister Edi Rama paid a visit to Estonia, where he participated in the "Lennart Meri" Conference and met with the country's top leaders.

The focus of the talks was on European integration, NATO, and artificial intelligence.

Rama described Estonia as a model for Albania's digital transformation and invited Estonians to visit Tirana.

Meanwhile, his counterpart Kristen Michal stressed that Albania must continue reforms to move closer to the European Union.

In domestic politics, Sali Berisha attacked the “Diella” project, calling it a fraud and a “constitutional crime,” while Evi Kokalari warned of criminal charges against the Berisha family at SPAK and demanded the cancellation of the DP elections.
On the other hand, MP Jorida Tabaku denounced the way public tenders are awarded, stating that “1 in 2 tenders are awarded without competition” and that public funds are being concentrated in a small group of companies.

In justice and security, EU Ambassador Silvio Gonzato visited the reconstructed premises of the GJKKO and called for strengthening trust in the new justice system.

Meanwhile, the US embassy in Tirana stressed the importance of cyber defense for the country's national security and economic development.

SPAK continued its crackdown on organized crime.

Three members of the "Bajri" group were indicted for planning the murder of Aleksandër Prendi and his family, while the Appeal Court of Appeals returned former minister Lefter Koka to prison for the Tirana incinerator case, even though he is outside Albania.

At the same time, the State Police and the Guardia di Finanza launched aerial monitoring against drug cultivation for 2026.

In the region, European Commissioner Marta Kos visited Pristina and stated that Kosovo's integration into the EU depends on reforms and dialogue with Serbia.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti stressed that Kosovo does not seek "shortcuts" towards the union.

In the international arena, Donald Trump concluded his visit to China, where he and Xi Jinping talked about strengthening relations between the two countries and implementing agreements reached.

Meanwhile, Albania celebrated qualifying for the Eurovision final with Ali's song "Nân", while Shakira returned to the World Cup stage with the new anthem "Dai Dai", in collaboration with Burna Boy.
