A story comes from a citizen in Fier, who recounts that she was in a difficult situation with her disabled husband in her apartment. She says that she signaled the police officers with a searchlight and they immediately came to her aid.
"I couldn't lift my husband up once. I took the spotlight and signaled the police, they came. "Madam, what's wrong with you", I said to her about the man who wasn't moving, they helped me, they called the ambulance. They took him, but when they took him out, my daughter was a little sick, she had a wound. 6 guys came and took her out. The water came very quickly, we couldn't do anything, everything happened very quickly, not even 5 minutes. You couldn't move, I just said, save your head. I was more afraid for my husband. I was more afraid for his life because I couldn't lift my husband up once. Those guys came, may God bless them, and the police ," she said to "Abc News".
