Today the president of SHISH was going to report to the Assembly, but the meeting failed because most of the deputies did not have security certificates...
A scandal broke out today in the National Security Commission. The head of the State Information Service, Vlora Hyseni, was supposed to report today, but no such thing happened because most of the members of the commission are without security certificates. Even though we are dealing with a committee that has access to secret data, the deputies have not been provided with security certificates.
At the beginning of the meeting, there was a debate between Ervin Salinaji and Nasip Naço, the latter as head of the committee announced the closing of the meeting because most of the members do not have security certificates and the quorum was not reached.
There were 14 deputies at the meeting, while the commission itself has 21 members. The youngest member is Monika Kryemadhi, where her inclusion in this commission is a scandal in itself. According to "TCH", 8 deputies have valid security certificates, while the rest are without certificates or their term has expired.
But unlike what happened today, a few days ago the members of this commission had access to secret data. The head of the Army's Intelligence Service reported there, where again secret information was discussed.
The security certificate is a document issued by the Directorate of Classified Information Assurance, which certifies from a security point of view that an individual meets the conditions set for the recognition, storage, administration and transfer of classified information.
From the opposition with a valid security certificate in the commission was Ferdinand Xhaferri. While MP Ervin Salianji had applied but has not received it yet. So half of the SP members had their security certificate expire last month.
"Pamphlet" itself denounced the transfer of Monika Kryemadhi to this commission, as she is being investigated for ties to the Russians. It was the head of SHISH who would report on foreign and especially Russian influence today. But it seems that the scandal is deeper, as more than half of the members appear without security clearances and most are socialists.
