After the attempts to release the members of the Rraja tribe from prison, the prosecution has taken a step back.
The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has requested re-examination for the cousins Bilbil and Jashar Maja, barbarically raped in July of this year with baseball bats and pistols by members of the Rraja tribe.
Based on this order, there will be 3 more forensic experts who will make the new expert report, since the previous one was not accepted by the two abused cousins, because the barbaric violence was classified as a minor injury by the prosecutor. Ylli Basha.
In the first act-expertise, forensic expert Elton Serani, stated that the Maja cousins had no danger to their lives, despite the numerous fractures in the head and body, but the blows had only resulted in the temporary loss of the ability to work. But this examination brought numerous reactions and anger in the public opinion, since everyone has seen the images of barbaric violence against Bilbil and Jashar Maja, images which were distributed by the perpetrators of the crime themselves.
Today, the son of the former socialist MP Rrahman Rraja and his brother are still being sought, while thanks to the expert report issued earlier, they could have been fined only, despite the footage where they appeared with a pistol in hand.
The two cousins have confirmed that they will not appeal the incident to the prosecutor's office, leading to the failure of the case. According to them, any complaint made on a private road has no value, since they cannot be protected by this justice and this police.
