Without any announcement, Tv Klan has decided to watch the matches of the national team only on the terrestrial network, totally ignoring the majority of people who have a satellite network and who already have to return to the antennas.
The next scandal is the order that TV Clan of Aleksandër Frangaj has given to the municipalities of the country, not to broadcast the matches of "Euro 2024" in the squares without paying money to this television.
MP Erion Braçe has made this fact known, where in a post on social networks he writes:
Where are you seeing the European?
Months ago I asked:
Where will we see the European, Albania in it?
I miss some at that time; "O cuckoo, the Clan has it and it has it free of charge"; "you ask us or we ask you" and so on;
I have the digitalb app at home and I am happy with the service I receive; but yesterday I could not see the match between England and them; not even on the KLAN channel on the platform, the site was blocked.
I asked and they told me that Klan gives the match only on land, while on digital platforms it is another;
I tried to connect to the terrestrial but I couldn't, I needed an antenna as well as a decoder, meanwhile it seemed too much to buy another subscription for digital broadcasts.
Look, television rights are legal rights and should be treated as such; very good that we are getting to this point;
Poor transparency in such rights is vital!
When I asked, I had in mind the transparency of what is happening; I wanted to know who owned it, who traded it, the trading conditions, who bought it, under what conditions and rights, how much did he buy it, what did he do with it, resold it, who bought it and under what conditions?
Audiovisual Media Authority, can I make this transparent? Yes, yes, of course! To protect us as consumers! Did he do it? Yoooo, even to inform us where and how we watch the matches, at what cost, he didn't do it!
But more than that has happened;
I read a letter to the municipalities of the country, where you are informed that they cannot put screens in their squares for people who need to see the matches, without paying the owner of the television rights, and the payment is many times more than the value of a subscription!
There are no paper fees either, but a name and a phone number where you have to talk and pay; and this is made known to you very late, when it is known that the institutions have procedures that are not passed with "the businesses that sell meatballs and beer pay"!
At this point, where is the Competition Commission?
The exclusive television rights that are traded in this way, in my judgment abusively, are their business;
sleep is not an institutional solution even though it is hot!
