The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has announced the final conclusions for the "Tire" scandal during the time of Covid 19.
The prosecuting authority has demanded the punishment of Tire Alldervish with 7 years of imprisonment for the criminal offense of "Fraud" committed in cooperation, more than once and which has brought serious consequences.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the prosecution has requested six years of imprisonment for nurses Sheqerije Koci, Sidorela Çela, Erjola Jazxhi, Gylbra Halilaj, they are accused of fraud with serious consequences and abuse of duty.
The prosecution asked for 6 years in prison for the other nurse Rukije Hoxhaj. The "Tire" scandal was published for the first time in an investigative show and through video-interceptions it was discovered that she was presenting herself as a nurse to the families of patients who were admitted to the Shefqet Ndroqi hospital, taking money in search of service.
Likewise, "Tire" was filmed by a girl whom he managed to extort about 8 million Lek from, promising to take care of her mother who was suffering from Covid-19. But the patient died. The court process has been conducted by ordinary trial since 2021 when the scheme with Covid patients was discovered.
