The detainees of the "Metamorfoza" file demand their freedom in the Supreme Court. They have filed an appeal following the Court of Special Appeal's decision that left them in jail, arguing that the communications on the SKY ECC app cannot be called evidence as they were not taken in the form required by law.
This position was also maintained by the lawyers of the arrested in the first instance and in the appeal, but the security measure of "prison arrest" was left in force against them.
The appeal was filed by businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, prosecutor Xhevahir Lita, former chief of Operations, Oltion Bistri, former officer Ardrit Hasanbegaj and Edmond Preka, driver of businessman Gjoka.
Behar Bajri was also extradited from France from those declared wanted for this file a few weeks ago, who was also left in prison by the GJKKO. From the communications analyzed in the SKY application, this group is accused of murder, providing conditions for assassinations, corruption, abuse of office, falsification of documents and illegal organization of gambling.
