
Although the elections in Tirana have been suspended, the first polls have begun. "Notosondaggi" in collaboration with "News 24" have conducted a survey in the capital, focusing on the issues and the outcome of the elections, if they are to be held.
The survey, conducted by renowned Italian expert Antonio Noto, presents the electoral trends and main concerns of citizens for the country's largest municipality, where the vote will be held for Erion Veliaj's successor at its head.
According to the first question of the survey: "What, in your opinion, is the main/emergent problem of the Municipality of Tirana?", excessive traffic ranks at the top of the list, with 54% of respondents seeing it as the capital's most urgent challenge.

After it, citizens rank public transportation as insufficient with 24.5%, while road repair and maintenance comes third with 24%.
Other concerns mentioned include: lack of bicycle lanes (12.6%), poor public lighting (9.1%), waste management (5.5%), and lack of green spaces (2.1%).
