As for Mr. Meta and Kryemadhi, they have warned that they will not request a summary trial... it will be discussed by registered letter abroad, even to Mrs. Kryemadhi's cell phone, which I could call the Achilles' heel in this story. Today, according to me, Ilir Meta's confrontation with Albanian justice has officially begun ," she said.
In the first foundation session since his arrest in 2024, former President Ilir Meta appeared in the glass cage, from where he spoke about a politically rigged trial.
" Lies, slander and false accusations! A shameful trial! ", Meta was heard saying from inside the glass cage. Today was the first time that a trial of Meta was broadcast live on social media or on television, while a change in the appearance of the former president, who has been isolated in "Prison 313" for more than a year, was also seen.
