SPAK anti-smuggling action, around 15 arrest warrants issued; customs officers

A SPAK operation is underway against a cigarette smuggling scheme.

Reports indicate that the operation, which is being led by SPAK and BKH prosecutors, has led to the arrest of customs officers, businessmen, and foreign citizens.

Reports indicate that 21 travel bans have also been issued for persons involved in this smuggling scheme.

It is learned that the investigation into the matter in question began several months ago.
