SPAK 'scolds' Pajtime Fetahu's brother, Ben Kotollaku; dismisses

Kotollaku is the brother of former Elbasan judge Pajtime Fetahu, who is currently in prison after three charges filed by SPAK.

The SPAK Special Prosecution Office has dealt a strong blow to the confidence of a prosecutor in Elbasan, who took the courage to denounce a corruption case that occurred in her office premises in Elbasan.

Glenda Zeneli's complaint was dismissed by SPAK prosecutors themselves, who asked the court to dismiss the criminal prosecution, a request that was approved a few days ago by Special Judge Irena Gjoka.

Prosecutor Zeneli, 1 year ago, reported to her colleagues the judicial police officer from the road sector, Arben Kotollaku, with the fact that he had given a perfume worth 37 thousand old lek in the office as a reward for relaxing the security measure, to a citizen named Ismail.Q.

The latter was arrested by traffic police officer Arben Kotollaku on charges of “Irregular Driving.” Kotollaku is the brother of former Elbasan judge Pajtime Fetahu, who is currently in prison after three charges filed by SPAK.

The case in question shows a flagrant episode of family management, where brother Arben Kotollaku, after arresting a citizen, offers his sister, Pajtime Fetahu, to defend him through legal channels, prosecutorial-court.

And while the arrest letters have been sent to the prosecutor's office, the criminal proceedings against Ismail Q. have been handled by prosecutor Glenda Zeneli.

The latter has addressed a request to the court to impose the security measure "compulsory appearance" for Ismail.Q, who was prosecuted for the charge of "Driving a vehicle in an improper condition".

Ismail.Q, was defended in court by Pajtime Fetahu. The court approved the prosecutor's request, releasing Ismail from solitary confinement and imposing the measure of "compulsion to appear".

But two days after this decision, the officer who had arrested Ismail Q, citizen Arben Kotollaku, appeared at the Elbasan prosecutor's office, heading to the prosecutor's office that had the case.

He had left a perfume in the prosecutor's office, telling her that it had been given to him by his arrestee, Ismail Q, as a reward for the prosecutor's release from solitary confinement.

After this conversation, Kotollaku left the office and took the stairs and left the prosecutor's office premises. Meanwhile, prosecutor Glenda Zeneli reported the case to her colleagues as a corruption case.

The case was initially pursued by Elbasan and then the file went to SPAK. But less than a year passed from this situation and SPAK dismissed the report of prosecutor Zeneli, claiming that there was no criminal offense, stating that the prosecutor's report form was incorrect.

Arben Kotollaku, the man who offered the material benefit as a reward for the release of Ismail Q from the prosecution, has been released and has not been held criminally liable.

According to SPAK, the only one who made a mistake in this matter is the Elbasan prosecutor, Glenda Zeneli, who denounced the corruption case.
