One of the citizens who spoke at the protest held in Tirana called for the protection of the national interest.
Following his speech, the protester stated that he had received messages from students of the Police Academy, making a claim of repeated poisonings. He called on institutions to take action against the prime minister.
"There are moments in the history of a nation when the question is not who the government is but who we are and what Albania we will leave to the generations. Today we risk the connection we have with the land, which we inherited and which was washed with blood. Today we have an obligation to preserve it for our grandchildren and children. They talk about laws, procedures and investments, but if the Albanian land does not remain in the hands of the Albanians, what will be left of us. Our nation has survived the invasions and did not abandon the Homeland. We do not measure the Homeland by square meters but by the love we have for it and the willingness to fight for it. Long live Albania!
"Today I received messages from students of the Police Academy who have been poisoned twice in 2 months. This police force cannot protect its students, today they make the decision to arrest Rama ," he said.
