"Students are being deliberately divided", Florian Binaj: The government pays more for a prisoner than for a young doctor

Activist Florian Binaj said that the state is currently paying more to keep a prisoner per year than to train and educate a new doctor.

Binaj described this as wrong as he added that division is being deliberately introduced among students.

"We need to let the students speak more. They present the situation best. If a person with a criminal record kills a doctor and sentences him to prison, the state keeps him with 8,000 euros a year. For a new doctor, the costs are 2400 euros per year. It costs less to generate new doctors than to keep a person who killed a doctor. That's where it's wrong. The division between students is getting worse", said activist Florian Binaj for A2 CNN.
