The majority councilors in the municipal council have postponed the consideration of the draft decision to grant a rental bonus to families whose homes were demolished as part of the TID project until another meeting.
The draft decision was scheduled as item 13 of the agenda and focused on financial support for families affected by expropriations. During the meeting, opposition and tensions emerged, accompanied by protests from residents and councilors of the Democratic Party.
After debates, the majority decided not to put this item to a vote and to postpone it to the next meeting. According to the official announcement, the decision on the rent bonus will be returned for consideration at the next council session.
Meanwhile, affected families are seeking quick solutions for housing, emphasizing that the demolition of their homes has left them without a concrete alternative.
