The United States Embassy in Tirana has reacted with a public announcement regarding the legal consequences that may arise from violating the law by foreign citizens on American territory.
In the published message, the embassy emphasizes that a US visa is not an automatic right, but a privilege that can be revoked in the event of involvement in criminal acts.
According to the warning, being arrested for various offenses while in the US can directly affect your visa status and your ability to travel again in the future.
Through this response, the embassy recalls that respecting the law is an essential condition for maintaining US visa status.
"If you are arrested for assault, domestic violence, or other crimes while in the United States, your U.S. visa may be revoked and you may become ineligible for future visas. A visa is a privilege, not a right that can be taken away if you break the law," the U.S. Embassy message says.
