The former prime minister, Sali Berisha, from the window of the apartment where he is under house arrest, accused the prime minister, Edi Rama, of his connections with the former FBI agent, Charles McGonigal.
Berisha declared that the criminal acts of the Rama-McGonigal group have no origin, as he added that the US Ministry of Justice made it clear to the Albanians that the prime minister is corrupt.
The former prime minister said that such a thing cannot be tolerated, so he asked the citizens to stand up in protests and set the date of Rama's arrest.

Today, the major media warned about the connections of Rama, Dučka with Deripaska's companies, with Russian service companies. The pool of criminal acts of the Rama-McGonigal group has no end. Again, I want to emphasize, the US Department of Justice did its job. He told the Albanians that your prime minister is corrupt, he is a criminal. He committed the criminal act of corrupting the US's chief intelligence officer. The US Ministry of Justice told the Albanians that the prime minister you have is corrupt because he has changed licenses, removed and put oil licenses to enrich his associates and himself. Today there is only one question for every Albanian, how can we continue to tolerate Prime Minister Edi Rama?
How can we further accept a prime minister denounced by the justice of the main country of the world? How can we remain indifferent to this monstrous act of Edi Rama? No one has the right to say that the world is not helping us. What greater help is there to a responsible man than to show him the truth in his face that his prime minister is a thief, a corrupt, treacherous and immoral individual, who knows no friendship, knows nothing but the chair of his.
