Direct flights for football fans from Tirana to Germany for the group matches of the Albanian National Team
Tirana, February 1, 2024 – Wizz Air, Albania's largest and most environmentally sustainable airline globally announced that it will operate special flights for Albanian football fans at the European Football Championship matches in Germany. Special flights will also take fans home after matches.
The airline will operate flights for the matches from Tirana on June 15, 19 and 24. Football fans wishing to support the national team can purchase their fixed-price tickets today via the Wizz Air website and the airline's mobile app.
Tamara Nikiforova, Wizz Air Communications Manager said: “We are delighted to support the fans of the Albanian national team by taking them to the matches of the European Championship 2024, so that they can see their favorite players in person and cheer for them. Flight schedules are specially tailored to match dates, making it easier for fans to get home.”
