Today, the colossus of Albanian letters, Ismail Kadare, passed away.
It is learned that his death came as a result of a cardiac arrest, despite the fact that he did not suffer from heart disease before.
The Emergency Service went to the writer's apartment and everything was done to keep him alive. Later, he was transferred to QSUT, where he died.
Meanwhile, the body of the colossus of Albanian letters is still in the hospital, while the necessary procedures are being carried out.
According to sources, an official and state ceremony is also expected to be held to pay tribute to the great writer.
