The chairman of the Union Party for Human Rights, Vangjel Dule, was hit with eggs today as he entered the premises of the Special Court where a court session was to be held for the elected mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri.
Two people approached Dules and hit him with eggs, one of which fell on his back, while the deputy was crossing the fence of the court.
Asked by TCh, Dule said that today's attack "was part of a scenario".
In the Special Court of Appeal, a hearing was held for the elected mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri, after he appealed the request dismissed by the Court of First Instance to obtain a special permit to take the oath in the municipality. The court adjourned the session without taking any decision today.
Beleri was arrested two days before the May 14 local elections, on suspicion of vote buying.
