6000 euros of funds have been collected for the transportation and burial in the homeland of the 7-year-old Albanian boy who drowned in the sea in Crete.
This money will be used to pay the funeral agency that will deal with the process of burying the little boy in Albania, while the rest will be given to the family.
The tragic event happened on Saturday where the little boy sneaked away from his mother, who was taking care of the baby, and went into the sea to bathe.
It is suspected that he was washed away by the waves and his body was discovered by a passerby in the sea. Despite the fact that the residents and then the doctors tried to save him, the little boy did not manage to survive.
It is reported that the Albanian couple lived near the beach, where the tragedy happened.
