Some of the protesters arrested this afternoon during the rally held in front of the Parliament have been released. They were held for more than 3 hours in the premises of Police Station No. 1, while dozens of protesters stood outside the Police building demanding their release. The released protesters were greeted with applause and cheers from citizens outside the police station.

Dritan Gonxhaj, one of the arrested protesters, stated that he was informed by the police that the reason for the detention was for disobeying a police order. He also added that the other protesters are expected to be released once the procedures are completed.

"The reason for the association was the alleged opposition of police officers, even though we did not oppose them. We were a fence and called on the protesters not to touch the police officers."

The treatment we received was normal and there were no problems. Several MPs came and asked us about the situation.

"We refused to meet the People's Advocate, because for us he does not represent the people, because he was voted in by a Parliament that we consider a criminal Parliament. For this reason, we demanded his removal ," he said.

We recall that the protesters were arrested by the police this afternoon after they threw eggs at several MPs and their cars, while also attempting to cross a metal fence set up by law enforcement.
