The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, has reacted regarding the accident that occurred this morning near the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A vehicle hit a pedestrian while he was crossing the white lines. The injured person was an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a post on "Facebook", Minister Hasani announced that the employee who was injured is in the Trauma Hospital out of danger and that his condition is stable.
Meanwhile, he thanked the National Emergency, the Trauma Hospital and the State Police.
"I express my gratitude to the National Emergency, the Trauma Hospital and the State Police for the readiness and professionalism shown in responding to the accident that occurred a few hours ago, where a colleague of ours was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road near the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
"While the relevant authorities are working to clarify the circumstances of the incident, I would like to inform you that our colleague is out of danger, in stable condition and under the care of doctors at the Trauma Hospital," Hasani wrote.
