The Italian police are investigating to track down the killer of the 34-year-old Albanian Klaudio Myrtaj, who was executed with a pistol bullet with a silencer in the carpentry where he worked.
While the motives of jealousy remain the main clue of the murder, the investigators were able to build the scene of the murder with the help of security cameras in a carpentry workshop in the center of Vernante, a tourist center in the Cuneo area, a few km from Limone.
According to the investigations, the Albanian is suspected to have been guarded by the author of the incident. After the latter approached and shot him with a bullet in the head when he was alone. The security cameras have recorded that shortly before the crime, its owner came out of the carpentry shop.
The blow was fatal for the young man, who, although he was rushed to the hospital, could not survive.
It was the owner of the carpentry shop himself who notified the police about the incident after he returned to find the young Albanian bleeding. So far, the testimonies of all the persons with whom the Albanian cooperated, as well as his girlfriend, have been obtained.
According to the Italian media, working in carpentry was the second job for the Albanian, originally from Vlora, who had been living in Italy for two years. It turned out that he was also registered at a road construction site.
