The first victim from last night's earthquake is confirmed.
A 20-year-old man from the village of Çinar in Lushnje lost his life after the earthquake. Daniel Rika got scared in his sleep and after getting up quickly, he tried to run away.
Unfortunately, he fell on the stairs of the second floor of the apartment. The 20-year-old lived with his parents.
The dead body of the young man has been sent to the Lushnja hospital morgue, where a forensic examination is expected.
The earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale was felt at 00:17 on Sunday. The epicenter of the tremors was in Elbasan. As a result, the earthquake was also felt in many other cities such as Lushnjë, Tirana, Durrës, Kavajë, Fier, Korçë, Pogradec, Vlorë, etc.
