Five members of a family in Blinisht of Lezha were left in the open, after the fire destroyed their apartment. The flames, which were allegedly started by an electrical spark, quickly spread throughout the house, consuming everything in their path.
The situation becomes even more difficult for this family, which is already homeless and is also challenged by the cold. The fire started around 08:00 in the morning, while the head of the family had left for work. It was the boy who saw the flames and then alerted other family members to get out.
"I went to work like every day. I left the family, when the son saw the fire he called his sisters. They saw the flame on the ceiling. Electric spark, received directly. I was at work, the boy opened the doors and went straight out", says the head of the family.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire, but the boy risked his life trying to put out the flames with circumstantial means.
