The unfortunate blockade of the Librazhd-Prrenjas axis/ The most serious blow to the economy and national security
The Confederation of Albanian Industries (Konfindustria) has reacted to the five-day blockade of the road axis connecting Librazhd with Prrenjas, describing the situation as one of the most serious blows to the economy and national security.
Konfindustria says that the interruption of this strategic segment risks causing immediate and long-term consequences for the national economy, businesses, industries and domestic production.
She demands that the government and SPAK take immediate measures to resolve the situation.
The reaction emphasizes that if the situation is not resolved quickly, there is a risk of major financial losses, increased costs for businesses, and serious consequences, including possible bankruptcies.
This Wednesday morning, the complete removal of the Dragostunja bridge officially began, in the area known as "Arrat e Gurrës", on the Librazhd-Prrenjas national segment.
The structure was declared irreparable after severe damage caused by ground movements, which hit the foundations and put it out of service.
According to experts on the ground, a powerful landslide caused the road to shift and cracks in the bearing layers, making any repair work impossible. Due to the danger it posed to traffic, a controlled demolition was decided.
SPAK head summoned to Brussels/ EU seeks evidence in fight against corruption
The head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, was summoned to Brussels on March 3 for a meeting to discuss justice and anti-corruption issues in our country.
The agenda approved on Tuesday afternoon by the ambassadors of the 27 member states states that the 7th meeting of the Justice and Security Committee will focus on critical integration reforms, specifically on ensuring the independence of the judiciary, the rule of law, and concrete actions against corruption and organized crime.
The preliminary material also emphasizes that Albania should continue its efforts to strengthen law enforcement, align visa policies, and manage illegal migration.
Operational results are also required in the fight against organized crime, drug trafficking, especially against cannabis cultivation, and to prevent money laundering. The Prosecutor General, Olsian Çela, is also expected to be present at this meeting.

Kjo është për shkak të një polici që ka qejf të merret me mua. Ne nuk do të ndalim protestat. Do të jemi deri në fund, deri sa të fitojmë. Nuk na ndalon asgjë që të mbrojmë pronën tonë. Nuk e fal pronën, jam betuar. Do të jenë prona jonë, deri në fund, me çdo çmim”, është shprehur një prej tyre teksa ka lënë ambientet e policisë.
Banorët e Rrjollit deklarojnë se do të vijojnë kundërshtimin ndaj punimeve dhe do të kërkojnë mbrojtjen e pronës përmes protestave të paralajmëruara në ditët në vijim.
Zbardhet axhenda/ Rama mbledh nesër Grupin Parlamentar të PS
Kryetari i Partisë Socialiste, Edi Rama, do të drejtojë nesër mbledhjen e Grupit Parlamentar, ku pritet të përcaktohet qëndrimi i mazhorancës lidhur me kërkesën e SPAK drejtuar Kuvendit për dhënien e autorizimit për arrestimin e Belinda Ballukut.
Mbledhja do të nisë në orën 11:00 dhe do të zhvillohet në Pallatin e Brigadave. Sipas rendit të ditës, mbledhjen do ta hapë Edi Rama, ndërsa më pas do të vijojnë raportimet e ministrave.
Do të raportojnë Ministri i Financave Petrit Malaj, Ministrja e Shtetit dhe Kryenegociatorja Majlinda Dhuka, Ministrja e Ekonomisë dhe Inovacionit Delina Ibrahimaj, Ministrja e Shtetit për Administratën Publike dhe Antikorrupsionin Adea Pirdeni, Ministrja e Punëve të Brendshme Albana Koçiu, Ministri i Mbrojtjes Piro Vengu, Ministrja e Shëndetësisë dhe Mirëqenies Sociale Evis Sala, Ministrja e Arsimit Mirela Kumbaro, Ministri i Shtetit për Pushtetin Vendor Ervin Demo dhe Ministri i Drejtësisë Besfort Lamallari. Në përfundim do të marrë fjalën Kryetari i Grupit Parlamentar të PS, Taulant Balla.
After the meeting of the Council for Regulation, Mandates and Immunity, Taulant Balla stated that this will be the first meeting of the group that will decide on the Belinda Balluku case. The Socialist MPs will also hear Ulsi Manja's report, based on the presentation of SPAK prosecutors to the Council.
